Die vorliegende Doktorarbeit von 2012 untersucht in Kapitel 5 den Einfluss von Schule und Eltern bei der nationalen Sozialisierung von Kindern in Katalonien. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Studien ist der Autor der Meinung, dass der Einfluss der Schule überschätzt, der Einfluss von Eltern, sozio-ökonomischem Status und auch Einwanderung versus Einheimischen unterschätzt wird. Chapter 5 of this PhD thesis of 2012 analyses the impact of schools and parents on national socialisation and construction of identy in Catalonia, Spain. In contrast to other studies, the author thinks that school influence is overestimated compared to parents' influence, socio-economic status or immigrant versus native status.
